The Challenge
Gaynor was starting a brand new business as a celebrant in Edinburgh and needed a complete visual identity from the ground up. The goal was to create a warm, approachable, and professional brand that would resonate with clients looking for meaningful, personalised ceremonies.
My Approach
Working closely with Gaynor (my mum!), I began with in-depth research to understand the target market and what makes a celebrant brand stand out. Moodboards helped us explore styles that felt heartfelt, authentic, and inviting.
I crafted a completely custom hand-drawn logo to reflect Gaynor’s personal touch and caring approach. This bespoke design became the foundation of the visual identity.
From there, I designed business cards and built a full website, focusing on clarity, ease of navigation, and emotional connection. The website showcases her services, story, and testimonials — making it easy for prospective clients to learn more and get in touch.
The Outcome
Gaynor’s business quickly took off — she’s now fully booked with both funerals and weddings. Impressively, over 80% of her weddings come directly from website enquiries, proving the strong impact of the new brand and site in attracting and converting clients.
